It was really funny, in a trainwrecky way. He works for an organization who we end up opposing pretty consistently, and they’re really, really good at making the statutory basis of their political philosophy clear, and incredibly terrible at anything else. One time their briefings contained the claim that we hadn’t run x and y statistical analyses and for their proof they cited the page before the page on which we had done those statistical analyses.
