My pieces for today’s class! This was a set of editorial pieces for an article on introversion vs. extroversion—there was a lot in the article related to business strategy, so I drew me some fancy people in fancy business suits. The top piece is the feature illustration and the bottom two are spots, actually set to run much smaller than they appear here. I actually haven’t received critique yet, but hopefully it will go well!
Wow, I love this! It’s cool following so many people at the same schools of art, I get to see all the different answers to the same assignments without actually having to be good enough to do ‘em myself. I like the palette in the bottom right best and the careful stylization on the bottom left without succumbing to “he’s old draw a million lines on him!” and the large illustration conveys emotion so well.
